1st Case Study The formulated model consists of only 2 periods

(Day & Night). The process units are the vacuum
pans for sugar crystallization and two buffer
tanks.

2nd case study The formulated model consists of only 2 periods

(Day & Night). The supply entering would be the
uncertainty variable that may cause disruptions.
The process units are the vacuum pans for sugar
crystallization and two buffer tanks. The product
requirements bounded by the lower and upper
product requirements periodically.

3rd case study The formulated model consists of 14 periods. The

first 13 periods are on an hourly basis during the
daytime, while the 14th period is considered as the
night time. The equipment capacity will be treated
as the uncertainty variable that can cause
disruptions. The process units are the vacuum
pans for sugar crystallization and two buffer
tanks.
