I am writing this letter to inform you that I am resigning from my position as Copyeditor at The
Company.

I am leaving to pursue being a nurse as this has always been an ambition of mine, and for that, there are
some exams I need to take, and I would like more time to focus on preparing for them.

This was not an easy decision to make, and I appreciate your support over the course of my employment
at The Company.  I truly value the experience, training, and knowledge I gained over the past 5 years. It
has been a pleasure working with you and the team.
