    To launch Cheat Engine you must allow gatekeeper to execute unsigned applications

    that do not come from the app store

    If that is still an issue, or your security prevents apps to switch to root mode on
    the fly, you can always manually launch CE from the terminal:

    Go to the path where the Cheat Engine 7.2.app is extracted and execute:

    sudo Cheat\ Engine\ 7.2.app/Contents/MacOS/cheatengine-x86_64 hasrights

    Followed by typing in the admin password and pressing enter
