Background: Diarrhea is a major cause of high child mortality rate in the world. WHO data in 2013 about 760,000 toddlers died of diarrhea. While the incidence in Batam city (Kepri Health Profile 2015), in 2017 of diarrhea 12.422 cases. Nutritional disorder, will cause someone to get diarrhea easily. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of nutritional status (BB/U) with the incidence of diarrhea Methode: This research uses analytical survey techniques with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was outpatient toddlers at the Camatha Sahidya Hospital Batam City. The samples were taken by total sampling, and by collecting data of the Medical Record of Patients at Camatha Sahidya Hospital Batam City. The collected data was analyzed using the chi square test with a significance level of α = 0.05.]. Results: The medical record data of 521 toddlers showed over good nutritional status 388 toddlers (74.5%), under poor nutrition at status 133 toddlers (25.5%). Recording medical records for toddlers diagnosed with diarrhea 121 toddlers (23.2%) and not diarrhea 400 children (76.8%). After the chi square test, there was a significant relationship with sufficient strength between Nutritional Status (BB/U) in Diarrhea Events with a value of p = 0.001 (p 5 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between Nutritional Status and the incidence of Diarrhea in outpatient toddlers in Camatha Sahidya Hospital Batam City 2017.
