RESEARCH METHODS ASSIGNMENT FOR MONITORING AND

EVALUATION

The COVID-19 has taken the entire globe by storm with ghastly
consequences as reflected on every media platform. Assume you have been
hired as a consultants to assist the MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND CHILD
CARE coordinating COVID-19 activities in Zimbabwe to thoroughly
investigate, among other aspects, the activities being done in terms of
preparedness, quarantine and isolation centres, mitigatory measures etc.
(you can aslo include other issues which may be of interest to different
stakeholders)

Describe how you would address the following:

(i) the target population and the sampling procedure and their
justifications

(ii) the type of instruments to used and their justification (provide

specimens)

(iii) the analysis of the data collected and the structure of the report to be
presented(can have a dummy report).

(iv) Proffer recommendations which could derive from your inquiry on

areas which may warrant further attention.
