Capstone Journal #3

I have chosen my designs and sketch them out completely by now. A lot of work has
been completed and I’m left to do with only my slideshow presentation now which I aim
to complete by the end of the week. Me and my mentor have finished discussing about
what meanings we want or clothing to project and we finalized everything with what
colours our clothing will have. All the hoodies will have a combination of both cool and
warm tones since that fits the aesthetic under cyber y2k. We also confirmed that our
brand name will be in different shades of blue (in the letters) as they are embroidered
on the hoodies. Another task we’ve completed is finding out the brand name of our
clothing line. We chose the name “For the Culture” because the meaning of it aligns wth
how we’re doing this for the fashion culture and community. It’s simple but with comes
with a meaning, just like our clothes. Our target market we plan to aim for is towards
teenager to young adults. We’re hoping that we can influence them with our piece of
work. Talking about “running low on time” from my previous capstone journal, that is
something not worth stressing about anymore beacuse I used my time well with
focusing on which tasks takes the longest, leaving the ones I dont need as much time
for last. With that being said, the only task left to finish is to complete my slideshow with
the uploaded pictures of my designs!
