(RHC4TP) Program. The terms that govern the RHC4TP Program are contained in the Red
Hat Technology Partner Agreement (“TPA”) entered into between Red Hat and each Partner
participating in RHC4TP Program. All terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Red Hat Connect for Technology Partners (RHC4TP) Program overview. The Program
is designed for software, hardware, systems integrator and cloud hosting companies to align,
build, test and certify products on the Red Hat portfolio.
Joining the RHC4TP Program enables you to learn about Red Hat technology and receive help
validating your products and solutions on Red Hat. Once validated, the Program facilitates market
awareness for your products by publishing in Red Hat’s catalog as “Tried Tested Trusted” – the
certification mark for Red Hat’s Partner and Customer ecosystem.
Aligning with Red Hat, enables you to develop, integrate, deploy and deliver your company’s
products and services to a wide ecosystem of commercial customers who demand enterprise
class innovation, reliability, connectivity and performance.

Upon accepting the Red Hat Technology Partner agreement and joining the RHC4TP Program,
you can learn about our technology portfolio, get insider access to Program resources, request
Red Hat products to test with your product(s), and ask for technical help from Red Hat. As you
familiarize yourself with Red Hat technology and want tighter product integration with Red Hat,
you can request access to specialized RHC4TP Zones for privileged technical content. Zones are
also where you will begin to validate your products with Red Hat. Getting your products validated
as Red Hat Certified Technology, is the gold standard for Red Hat’s “Tried, Tested Trusted”
enterprise approach to our customers. Once certified, you can drive market awareness for your
products through publishing in Red Hat’s Partner Catalog.
Companies participating in RHC4TP will manage the Red Hat technical relationship via the
Red Hat Connect for Technology Partners portal.
Program enrollment requires the creation and maintenance of your company profile with
accurate company contact information in the RHC4TP system. Joining the Program gives
you access to the Program services detailed below.
Red Hat Technology Zone access will require Red Hat approval. Some Zones may also
require the acceptance of additional terms beyond the base Technology Partner Agreement.
You may contact the RHC4TP Operations Team at connect@redhat.com if you have
additional questions.

The RHC4TP Program is for technology companies only that either build or integrate product
or services containing material technical components. Qualified technology companies may
join the RHC4TP Program by registering the company in the Red Hat Connect for Technology
Partners portal
Software vendors who build commercial software applications generally available for resale
independent of their customer delivery model (e.g.: stand-alone, software-as-a-service,
containerized software, cloud hosted software, virtualized software etc.). These companies may
build commercial applications (industry specific or cross-industry), middleware applications,
infrastructure or firmware applications, operating system and database applications or
software tools as enabling technology. These SV’s have an opportunity to align their software
products with Red Hat technology to provide a better product for their target customers.
Hardware Vendors who build components (IHV), systems (OEM), and devices (ODM) that
have software compatibility and integration dependencies may qualify for RHC4TP Program
membership. Many of Red Hat’s original technology partners were OEM’s or systems vendors
looking to certify their products on the market leading Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating
system. With the expansion of Red Hat’s product portfolio, these companies may now integrate
and validate their hardware products with market leading Red Hat solutions, providing a
comprehensive stack to our mutual customers.
Systems Integrators that create material commercial technology services, may qualify for
RHC4TP Program membership. A deployment may consist of software, hardware, networks and
hybrid IT installations and span multiple affiliated functions like technical consulting, training,
application provisioning and overall system management. The RHC4TP Program enables SI’s to
align with Red Hat technology and best practices where applicable.
Cloud Service Providers and Hosting Companies may qualify for RHC4TP Program membership.
As software vendor applications and enterprise customer workloads get increasingly migrated to
off-premise cloud hosted platforms, CSP’s that provide these infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS),
platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms become critical players
for application hosting and delivery. Red Hat will work with these companies to build and certify
their IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms using Red Hat “Tried Tested Trusted” technology.
Companies that do not build products and services offerings using Red Hat products
(eg: Distributors, Resellers, VAR’s) do not qualify for RHC4TP membership.
Relationship management is facilitated via Red Hat Connect for Technology Partners portal
The RHC4TP Program opens the door to an array of services and benefits.
As a Program benefit, Partners get access to Red Hat products via software subscriptions. These
subscriptions (also referred to as “NFRs” or “Not-For-Resale” subscriptions) are offered at no
cost, and include access to the same software repositories that customers use, as well as the
corresponding software updates and knowledge base. Partners can use these subscriptions for
the following non-production purposes:
Partners who wish to use Red Hat software in production or want to be able to open
support tickets with Red Hat’s Global Support Services should purchase regular Red Hat
software subscriptions.

Individual users can create an account in the RHC4TP portal, accept the “company to company”
terms of the Technology Partner Agreement and join the Program. However, accessing full
partnership benefits delivered via a RHC4TP Zone, as described in this Program Guide, will
require Red Hat approval.
Zone Partners will need to show commitment to validate products as Red Hat Primed or Red
Hat Certified, as described in the Agreement. Upon validation, these products will be published
to the Red Hat Partner Catalog. Red Hat validated products will be promoted through RHC4TP
marketing awareness services (described above in Program Services).
T E R M I N AT I O N
All RHC4TP partners creating product certification with Red Hat are required to keep their
product’s certification current in order to continue as a Partner in the Program. Failure to do so
may result in termination of the partnership, at Red Hat’s discretion.
