Job Description
Responsibilities

 Achieve sales and margin objectives for seasonal buying plans.


 Support Buyer in the selection and purchase of product from vendor lines to augment
planned assortments based on trend data.
 Assist Buyer in developing market analyses to define and assess current trends.
 Maintains assortment plans and continually assess market to identify and react to trends.
 Correspond with vendors; provides excellent service and attention.
 Facilitate strong working relationship between corresponding merchandising teams and the
field organization.
 Maintain close relationships with Vendors, Distribution Center and Planning and Allocation
team.
 Assisting the maintenance of each seasons range plan spreadsheet, chasing missing
information and FOB prices as required
 Raising all purchase orders (including all supporting documents) and ensuring they are
signed and emailed /couriered to producers in a timely manner
 Updating purchase orders with changes
 Chasing proforma invoices and liaising with accounts department to ensure they are paid
 Perform other job duties as needed to support the buying team

Requirements

 Proven experience in e-commerce retail buying


 Outstanding communication abilities.
 Excellent organizational skills.
 Demonstrable aptitude in effective negotiating.
 Up to speed with purchasing best practices.
 Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques.
 Excellent knowledge of MS Office
 High school diploma; BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field will be
considered a plus.
