STRUCTURAL ASSESSMENT AND TESTING

PT. VICTORY CHINGLUH INDONESIA (JV-3) : BUILDING E
CIKUPA, TANGERANG, BANTEN

Based on information from PT. Victory Chingluh Indonesia as owner of Gedung E PT. Victory Chingluh
Indonesia (JV-3), that it is planned that the Ground Floor (1st Floor) of Building E will place new machines.
Because in the initial assessment there was no such information, the structural consultant was asked to re-analyze
whether the existing structure is capable to withstand the planned load of the new machine or not.

The scope of work on this project is to observe the member size of existing structure. It then being analyzed to
obtain the result of the structure as an effort in order to determine whether it capable to withstand the load or
not.

The load that acted on this structure is a follows:

General
a. Selfweight = Calculated automatically by program

Ground Floor (1st Floor)

a. SDL = 108 kg/m2
b. Imposed Load = 350 kg/m2
c. Machine Load = 3900 kg
Second Floor (2st Floor)
a. Imposed Load = 200 kg/m2
Roof Area
a. SDL = 5.52 kg/m
b. Live Load = 1.33 KN
c. Rain Load = 33.8 kg/m
d. Wind Load = 25 kg/m2

Based on the results of the structural analysis on the Ground Floor Plate (1st Floor) of Building E, it was found
that the floor plate structure was unable to withstand a load of 3900 kg which was planned to be placed on the
floor plate structure. Therefore, it is recommended to reinforce the structure before placing the load on the
structure.
