Human Rights Violation

Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from
birth until death. They apply regardless of where you are from, what you believe or how you
choose to live your life. They can never be taken away, although they can sometimes be
restricted – for example if a person breaks the law, or in the interests of national
security. These basic rights are based on shared values like dignity, fairness, equality, respect
and independence. These values are defined and protected by law.
The newspapers have plenty of news about human rights violation faced by different masses
of society in different ways.
Every person has right to be respected and treated with dignity. There was a news in every
newspaper which covered the sexualm harass, ment faced by a nurse posted in COVID 19
isolation wardin civil hospital , sector 6, Panchkula. The accused (doctor) entered into
changing ward and harassed her. The nurse first lodged a complaint with the hospital
authorities
Panchkula chief medical officer Dr Jasjeet Kaur said that internal inquiry has been initiated
againt accused. Also, the matter is sent to state women commission.
There arises different question and thoughts for people , what should be done with people
who do such things or how can we stop all these things. This is the time when everyone
should step up to any kind of inequality or harassment they face by anyone . its time to help
ourselves and people around us.
