To whom it may concern,

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for

Kylie Cianciolo as she applies to four-year universities. I have been a
friend of Kylie and her family for the past 12 years and have watched her
work through challenges and grow to be an independent and self-moti-
vated young woman.
During her high school years, Kylie forged her own path to find an envi-
ronment she would thrive in, as is evidenced by the classes she chose and
her success at Tri-C. She took ownership of her education by pursuing in-
terdisciplinary studies in both science and the arts. I’m sure the decision
to be a College Credit Plus Student required her to take a leap both aca-
demically and socially. She has proven herself to be a well-rounded and
accomplished student.
I also see Kylie through the eyes of an educator with 38 years of experi-
ence. Like education, the cognitive sciences are fields that require both
academic rigor and lots of soft skills in working with others. Kylie is most
certainly a very kind, empathetic and patient person. She is curious about
others and a good communicator. Kylie has demonstrated to me many
times that she has a natural gift in working with children. These aspects
of her personality make her a good fit for the field she is choosing to pur-
sue.
I am looking forward to seeing the future that Kylie builds for herself. I
feel that she would be a real asset to your program. If you have any addi-
tional questions please contact me at (440)289-8127 or

Sincerely,
Linda Lapping Bruno
