An interesting encounter with a

Stranger
It was a sunny Saturday morning, when
my father and I decided to visit the
supermarket. We went Arundel
Shopping Centre. As we were entering
Pick n Pay it was as if the market had
roared to life and was awake from its
deep sleep.
Herds of people entered through the
narrow entrance. They entered like
soldiers in a straight line. Large trollies
carrying multi coloured fruits. The shop
was crowded that the air became stuffy
and stinky .
My father and I got the items we
required. In the process met a girl of my
age. She was tall and pretty. We talked
for some time since the queues in the
shop were quite long. We had a lot to
talk about high school life. The things
we discussed were about the different
leaders of our schools. Mainly we
talked about perspective leaders and
their responsibilities in the school. The
topic I personally, liked when we were
discussing how the prefects taunt us a
lot at school. How prefects make petty
issues seem big.
I had some fun talking to someone I
don’t know, who has the same
mentality as myself. My encounter with
her was fascinating because we had so
much in common. She was a nice
person and a bit crazy just like me.
