POWER DIRECT VENT DESIGN
n ProMax SL Power Direct Vent residential gas models are equipped with FVIR technology to
meet Phase III of the ANSI Z21.10.1 standards for the resistance to flamable vapor ignition and
resistance to lint, dust and oil accumulation tests.

n The Closed-combustion two-pipe system draws combustion air from outside and vents outside
the home. The system vents up to 45 feet (using one 90° elbow) with 3” PVC, CPVC, or ABS ®

pipe. Canadian installations require ULC S636 listed PVC or CPVC pipe for venting.

SIDE-MOUNTED RECIRCULATING TAPS

n For installation with combination space heating/potable water heating applications (such as
the ProMax XL Heat Exchanger) or any system requiring are circulating hot water loop.

INTELLI-VENT™* GAS CONTROL

n Equipped with silicon nitride hot surface igniter and advanced electronics for precise control of
water temperature and simplified system diagnostics.

HEAT TRAP NIPPLES

n Standard on all models.

QUIET MODULAR BLOWER

n With 110 /120 Volt electrical system (rating 3 amps or less), with 6-foot cord, standard 3-prong male
connector.

DYNACLEAN™ DIFFUSER DIP TUBE

n Reduces lime and sediment buildup, maximizes hot water output. Made from long-lasting PEX cross-
linked polymer.

GREEN CHOICE® GAS BURNER

n Patented“Eco-Friendly”design reduces NOx emissions by up to 33% and complies with requirements
of less than 40 ng/j for low NOx.

MAGNESIUM ANODE RODS
