Virginia Lynch

Virginia Lynch is outlined as the mother of forensic nursing. Lynch is one of the 19th-

century nurses who played an essential contribution to leadership and nursing care services.

While Virginia was in nursing school, she encountered a victim after a rape case (Maguire &

Raso, 2017). Sadly, the police informed her that the rapist would likely not be found since her

evidence in the form of the victim’s clothes, personal items, and specimens were lost. The police

claimed that maybe the evidence as not turned into the authorities.

Markedly, Virginia played a crucial role in leadership aspects as she proposed to increase

education by keeping the evidence intact. Lynch launched her forensic career as a

methodological death analysis in Fort Worth, Tex. in 1984. Lynch aimed to educate people on

how to keep the evidence and use it to find the criminals. Additionally, Lynch resulted in the

creation of a novel nursing form. Through Virginia efforts, forensic nursing is keeping more

criminals safely and behind bars. Her efforts have ensured an increase in women’s safety.

Virginia’s contributions to forensic nursing science resulted in coordination and cooperation
