The study THE PLAYFULNESS AS AN EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE EDUCATION AND LIFE FORMATION

carried out in the Bamby del Norte preschool, located specifically in the Prados del Norte
neighborhood in the city of Popayán, department of Cauca, stablish the research question: What
meaning do the teachers of Bamby del Norte preschool give to playfulness in the classroom? The
research process, was based nationally with the general law of education, locally with the
Fundación parquet informático and internationally with the book Atmosferas Creativas: juega,
piensa y crea of Mexico which provide great knowledge about playfulness and play in the teaching
role and in the training process of students.

The research methodology was raised from the Historical Hermeneutic approach, which is based
on the interpreting processes, which has as its purpose the understanding of a reality, using
research techniques such as: open interviews, observation and diagnosis. At the same time, this
study was based on the ethnographic method, starting from the social and cultural context of the
overmentioned preschool.

The strategy for analyzing this information was the analysis grid where the selective and central
categories were taken into account. The groups were made established on the stories of each
interview, these categories will be reflected in the results and in the discussion. In conclusion, the
teachers have knowledge about playfulness and they wish to apply it in their school activities.
