Executive Summary
TANZANIA GOLD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT:
• Tanzania produces 43.5 tons of gold each year,
nearly all of it from the Lake Victoria Gold Fields.
• Mwamba is developing 2 Advanced Gold Projects
that will redefine the company as a mid-tier gold
producer.
• The proven resources total >655,264 ounces of gold,
with an average grade of ~2g/t Au.
• Mwamba’s current resources are expected to
produce 320,000 oz of pure gold and generate
US$340M EBITDA.
• Both projects, complete with issued mining licenses
and feasibility studies, are expected to begin pro-
ducing within one year of financing.
• Mwamba seeks to raise US$20M to finance mine
development.
• Funding will be collateralized by resources, proj-
ects, plants and equipment.
SUPPORTING LOCAL MINING COMMUNITIES:
1. Mwamba plans to supplement its production with
ore purchased from nearby small-scale mining
operations. This collaboration provides undercap-
italized miners an alternative to crude mercury
processing methods, delivering the safety and effi-
ciency benefits of modern processing technologies.
2. Mwamba empowers and assists its partner miners
to sustainably develop their operations through
knowledge sharing and access to modern mining
equipment.
3. Mwamba has agreements to partner with and pur-
chase the ore of 3 local mining groups adjacent to
its mine developments. These agreements include
‘No Mercury & No Child Labour’ provisions .
NOVEL “WAZI” SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNOLOGY:
• Mwamba has UN funding to develop WAZI, a digital
ore-marketplace for small-scale gold miners.
• WAZI vertically integrates 3rd party miners and
processors in Mwamba’s responsible gold supply
chain by purchasing ore from miners and placing it
in nearby processing facilities.
• WAZI is built to scale globally, with automated
verification, scheduling, payment, provenance and
supply chain traceability functionalities included.
• The platform increases market efficiency in devel-
oping gold mining economies by creating access to
needed infrastructure and financing.
• WAZI will be deployed throughout East Africa, in
Tanzania with Mwamba’s mines serving as process-
ing providers, as well as Uganda and the Congo as
part of the UNEP led and GEF funded PlanetGOLD
GOLD+ program.
