LETTER OF EXPLANATION

In reference to my education of Master degree:-

In July 2010, I started my education in Master of Technology (Thermal Engineering)

right after completion (May 2010) of Bachelor’s Degree. It was a thesis based study and
I completed my 3 semesters (academic study) on time i.e. in December 2011 but i took
more time to complete my thesis, so till December 2013 my thesis was almost
completed and only compiling of thesis was pending. In the meantime, I got a job in
Punjab Home Guards & Civil defence department i.e. in December 2013, so I became
busy in trainings and other activities in that job and that is the reason I had to put aside
my thesis work. Later in 2015 when things got streamlined and fortunately my job
posting station happened to be in this same city where I studied i.e. in Gurdaspur
district, then I decided to continue (complete) my thesis work so in June 2015 I
submitted my thesis work which is the date of completion of my Master of Technology
and this date is printed on my final Master degree.

In reference to police Basic Training certificate

I did my basic police training of 4.5 months from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Police
Academy, Phillaur and in the certificate my number is printed as SI No. 01/1127 (PHG)
instead of my employment Id /PC No. 90 (printed on ID card) and the reason is at that
time our batch of newly recruited police officers were not allotted employment Id/Pc No.
by department and that is why we were allotted SI No. by the academy itself. In disaster
relief course and flood relief course my employment Id /PC no. 90 is printed because I
was allotted PC No. 90 by that time.

SI is short form for job title Sub inspector and PC is short form for job title platoon
commander. Both are same ranks.
