FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Future Continuous Tense is used to indicate action which will be taking place at some in the future.

This tense is formed bye adding will be to the – Ing form ( gerund form ) of the main verb.

Example :

- I will be watching a football match next Sunday afternoon


- We will be working on our project this morning.
- When you arrive, I will be sleeping.
SENTENCE PATTERNS ;
S + WILL + BE + VERB ING + o / ADVERB …….POSITIVE.
S + WLL + NOT + BE + VERB ING + o + ADVERB……. NEGATIVE
WILL + S + NOT + BE + VERB ING + o + ADVERB…… INTERROGATIVE.
EXAMPLE :
1. Billy will be doing his work in the office tonight. ( positive )
2. Billy will not be doing his work in the office tonight. ( negative )
3. will Billy be doing his work in the office tonight ? ( interrogative )

Questions to work.
I. Change the following sentences into positive, negative, and interrogative form of future
continuous tense .
A. Mother ( make ) a cake for my birthday.
B. Jane ( write ) a new book If you come at seven.
C. They ( repair ) the mechines when you come here.
D. The techer ( install ) the computer after you go home.
E. The teacher ( teach ) the students when the bell rings.
