Feen Marine harnesses 20 years of experience in manufacturing, servicing and commissioning Inert
and Exhaust Gas handling systems.

The knowledge acquired through working with gas systems started in 1997 with IG systems and
IGG scrubbers. Our expertise in Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems has evolved out of this knowledge as
we constantly developed products that meet the evolving needs of the customer and regulatory
environment.

Today Feen Marine operates out of our state of the art facilities in Batam, Indonesia showcasing an inte-
grated complex that brings together a complete range of expertise, capability and technology to de-
sign and reliably manufacture our Inert and Exhaust Gas Systems.

Our large-scale manufacturing facility is built and sized to deliver large-scale manufacturing of all of
our products, supported by a dedicated workforce of more than 50 staff across management, design,
procurement manufacturing, and service teams.

Batam’s accessibility, world-class logistics network and its geographical proximity to our customer
markets ensures ‘just in time’ delivery of our products and responsive service fulfillment.

 Exhaust Gas
Cleaning System
Our Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems deliver an optimal solution for reducing the Sulphur content of ship emis-
sions. Feen Marine Exhaust Gas Cleaning technology is an economical reliable and environmentally friendly so-
lution to meet all the existing and future SOx emission regulations. More than 70 systems delivered and 30 in
operation.
Our EGC System utilizes open loop wet scrubber technology with exhaust by-pass functionality. The overall system
has been designed to minimize:
 Power consumption
 Pressure drop
 General maintenance requirements
The scrubber unit is designed with as few internal parts as possible required to meet emission level limits to air and
sea. The ECGS is delivered with a PLC based control system which manage all functionality as well as providing ap-
propriate data logging and storage requirements.

U-Type Scrubber

The U Type EGCS is designed to comply with IMO resolution MEPC

259 (68) Scheme B (continuous emissions monitoring and param-
eter checks). The SO2 reduction efficiency of our scrubbers corre-
sponds to a reduction in fuel Sulphur content from 3.5% to 0.1% -
exceeding the required level of compliance with the global cap of
0.5%.

A new design of EGC System with unique benefits such as:
 Substantially smaller footprint (reduced up to 60% of
conventional scrubbers).
 Up to 80 % lighter installation in weight, no modifica-
tion of funnel.
 Up to 70% saving in installation time if properly
planned.
 Highly reduced commissioning time (control system
and gas analyzers are integrated in the scrubber and
tested at production site).
 Significant cost reduction for engineering.
 Transportation in standardized dimension, no special
transport required, hence dramatically lower cost and

The control system is fully automated and can be operated and
monitored from several places (Local, CCR and ECR) also moni-
tored only from Bridge (WH).
The control system has been designed for easy and simple op-
eration. The system can be started and stopped by only 1 key
operation.
During PLC break down, the control system still can be operat-
ed manually, as detailed in the Operation Manual provided,
