Formworks installation

Employees performing work on and around


scaffolding are exposed to falls, electrocutions and
falling object hazards.
Minor Accidents
a)  The very nature of scaffold accidents
usually involving people and objects falling
from significant heights means that when
accidents happen, the injuries that follow tend
to be serious or fatal. 
b) Common scaffold accident injuries include spinal
cord injury,traumatic brain injury, paralysis, broken
bones, Organ damage and Lacerations
c) Improper use and placement of scaffolds
equipment 
d) Hard hats should be worn when working on, under,
or around a scaffold. 
e)Workers should also wear sturdy, non-skid work
boots and use tool lanyards when working on
scaffolds to prevent slips and falls and to protect
workers below.

Welding Metals
Workers should be provided with and wear face and eye
protection

a) Sparks and hot metal drops can saturate the air


and injure welder’s eyes. 
b) Welders are exposed to daily toxic welding fumes
and gasses that can cause life-altering injuries or
result in their deaths. Eye damage, vision loss,
blindness.
c) Appropriate clothing with eye and face protection was not observed.

when there are eye or face hazards present from flying
particles and molten metal.

Carpentry works
Improper ladder use is one of
the leading causes of falls for
constructions workers resulting
in injury or death.

accident is that the ladders
slips against the surface.
c) Reasons for ladder falls
include incorrect ladder
choice, failure to properly
secure the ladder and attempting to carry tools and
materials by hand while climbing.
d) Incorrect positioning of the ladder such as incorrect angle
for leaning ladder or not fully opening a standing ladder

e)Never level the ladder by shimming with bricks or boards.


Instead, dig out the high side .Set the ladder on a flat, dry
spot. Stake off and tie off whenever possible
