As you are already aware most business operations in Uganda were closed to words end of
March 2020 following President’s Directive in regard to Covid-19 which has become a Global
Pandemic. Consequently, this has negatively affected the financial position and sustainability of
many business operations in the country. Hence many employees have been retrenched or lost
their jobs.

As Human Resource Management Scholar/Expert;-

(i) Discuss the impact of COVId-19 on the business sector in the Country (also show
those businesses that have benefited from this pandemic).
(ii) Advise on the Human Resource strategies that can be developed by Company CEO to
maintain Company Human Resources (employees) in this crisis.
(iii) Assume you are the current President of the Republic of Uganda, advise on how you
would handled the Covid-19 situation/crisis
