Subject Title:
Quantitative and Qualitative Research

Subject Description
Practical Research 1 introduces Senior High School students to the
nature and process of research. It intends to enhance the learner’s
knowledge and understanding on the practice and purpose of
research. Specifically, it involves identification and intellectualization of
key trends, problems and issues underlying various phenomena
according to their chosen discipline. This course will also blend both
quantitative and qualitative approaches to conduct empirical
investigations. At the end of the course, the student is expected to
create an academic research outline containing descriptives of desired
topics specific to their discipline.
