exams are the same, but, as IELTS is taken on a text and CDIELTS is 
administered via computer, the medium of test distribution is different.

While the CDIELTS exam involves the use of computers for its execution, students must be able to use computers effectiv

and precision for the writing portion of CDIELTS. They can also read passages and

Students have to write their thoughts about the given topics on paper in IELTS for the Writing module, while in CD
IELTS, students have to type their thoughts using a keyboard on the screen.

As questions need to be answered whilst the audio is being played for the Listening section, candidates must read the ques
tions from a question booklet and note their responses on the answer sheets provided in IELTS and CDIELTS questions ar
e seen on the screen and students need to mark the answers on the computer.

Evaluation of the IELTS test results is conducted manually, while the computer software/system reviews the answer sheet
s in the case of CD-IELTS.
