PURPOSE

To define the sequence of drilling operations to finish the specified product as per the
diameter marked.

BEFORE START – UP

1. Check the machine for cleanliness.

2. Check for Lube Oil level & Coolant.
3. Check for any unusual noise after initial starting the Machine.
4. Check for the centre punch mark and the marking of diameter size on the job.

DURING OPERATION
1. Firmly clamp the job.
2. Fix up the appropriate drill bit relating the diameter of the hole to be drilled
3. Adjust the speed & feed required for the job
4. Check for the drilling operation completed.

DURING CLOSURE

1. Remove the clamp and release the job from the table.
2. Clamp the job and repeat the same operations mentioned above.

SHUT DOWN

1. Switch off power

2. Clean all the scrap
3. Clean the table
4. Remove the drill bit and keep it in the place ear marked
