This letter of endorsement is written for Kenady Layton with much pleasure because of the potential I feel
Kenady has and the positive effect she can have on students and athletes.

I have interacted over this past semester as both Kenady’s athletic director and administrator. As the
athletic director and vice principal of Barnwell School, I asked Kenady to coach our Gr. 6/7 volleyball
team. Due to Covid restrictions, our volleyball season in 2020 was anything but normal. However,
Kenady’s energy and enthusiasm helped to make it a positive experience for our student athletes.

Kenady’s interaction with her fellow coaches and administration at Barnwell School was great. She is very
punctual, has solid work ethics, good leadership qualities and is a good person of character. She applies
herself to what she is learning and strives to become better at what she does. Her leadership and
communication skills with her team were noticeable and she has never given me any reason to doubt her
judgment on or off the court.

Kenady demonstrated a good work ethic, good leadership abilities and a high moral standard. She has a
high regard for authority, which in return, has earned her the respect of our coaching staff, players,
parents, teachers and myself. Kenady’s involvement with coaching at Barnwell School has been with very
little monetary gain for herself, only the satisfaction of bettering her athletes.

During our many meetings together and conversations in the gym, Kenady has time and time again shown
me her love for sport, education and the development of young athletes. Kenady knows the meaning of
hard work, dedication and discipline and has demonstrated these strong qualities to me. She is confident
and will be successful in whatever she chooses to do. I give Kenady a high recommendation!
