Smart Polymers: Applications in current scenario

SPACS
January 15-16, 2021
Organized By: Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida
In association with: Asian Polymer Association
About the conference
The prime objective of this symposium is to bring together scientists and researchers in the field of smart and functional polymers. It will be a unique
opportunity for leading academicians, scientists, researchers and scholars, to exchange their knowledge base and share their experiences and research
outcomes on various aspects of Smart Polymers and Applications. The use of polymers as advanced materials is so extensive that they are found almost in
every material used in our daily life. Their applications in different dominions of sciences, technologies and industry – from basic uses to biopolymers and
therapeutic polymers, makes them a much sought-after area for research and advancement. Smart polymers are materials, which range from stimuli
responsive polymers to chemo-sensors, shape-memory materials, (bio)nanocomposites, hydrogels, self-healing materials, tissue engineering, biomedical
system, water remediation etc.
This two-day event will include plenary sessions, invited talks, poster presentations and panel discussions on the most recent innovations, trends, and
concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Smart Polymers and Applications. Also covered in this symposium
will be recent advances, difficulties, and breakthroughs in the field of polymer processing and characterization. It will be an excellent opportunity for
comprehensive collection of the newest developments in smart materials area.
