BURGER KING SPAIN

COMPETITION ANALYSIS
Burger King Spain, like every other fast-food brand caters to the middle-
working class and tries to capture the majority of the market, however
unlike its biggest competitors they hyper focus on the millennials, zillenials
and generation Z, this can be seen it their advertising and communications,
for which they primarily use social networks. BKes does use Facebook and
quite effectively at that given you can see a small difference in content from
their Instagram due to the catering of a more mature and family-oriented
customer. However, they are most active on Instagram which is the
platform most used by their core customers and this is also reflected in the
relatable and shareable nature of their content.
Their competition is very extensive with, the biggest and most obvious
competitor being, McDonalds. But they also compete with other fast-food
giants such as Vips, Five guys, and also fast-food chains which do not serve
burgers exclusively, such as Taco Bell, Ginos, Dominoes, Pizza Hut, KFC,
Subway. There are also some national brands 100 Montaditos. Burger king
Spain also competes which some smaller private national chains which tend
to be fast casual like Goiko grill.
Here is a list of possible competitors to BKes in no particular order:
McDonalds, Vips, Subway, KFC, Taco Bell, Goico grill, Tepuy Burger, Peggy
Sue, The Good Burger, Tony Romas, Fosters, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Telepizza,
Ginos, 100 Montaditos, Buffalogrill, Ribs, Hamburgesa Nostra, Tommy Mel’s
and independent and individual fast-casual restaurants in local contexts.
