I. Chandra in Aswini, produces had e!Tects.
Aswini is Kelhu's constellation, and Kethu 1s a Tha-
masa. Thus Chandra acquires Thama.sa Ucha :unshn,
with the result that the native incurred debts, got involved

The Lord of the second House is Budha. He is in
Hastha, Chandra's constellation.
Chandra is the Lord of \Z. 12th House reprcse11t•
loss and expenditure. The reason for such experiences is
that Budha has come under Chandra's sway.
Further the 6th House represents eoemity, litigation
and sicknc<s.
6th House Lord Saui is aspecting Chandra.
Chandra, thus, becomes malefic and Chandra's con-
stellation Hasta, has the effect of Saturn.
47
Budha is in Hastn. Hence the effect of S ani, the
sixth Lord.
IV. Native born in Meena Lagna.
Sukra is in Lagna Kendra and exalted.
Yet in Sukra·s.period, the native is subjected to troth
bles and worries such as wire·s death, loss of service etc.

Comparing (I) and (II) we see that in both cases, Guru
gives mixed results. \Vo should know the proportion of
good and bad in either case.
In (I) good results will be ~:reator than bad by reason
of RavJ remaining in his own House and Sani being
weak-

In (It) bad results will be greater than good by reason
ol Ravi being weak and Sani being strong.
Therefore genera.! rulings should be properly applied

Mother :
When considering the health and longevity of native 1 s

Vehicles:
Similarly. for predicting about vehicles, Sukra
should be examined as he is the Karka for vehicles.

Regarding landed prrperty, a scrutiny of Kuja is
necessary.
To determine a Native's Education a I

Ravi should be stron,;: for the English education or

If the Lord of the 7th House os in the constellations
of the Lord of the 6th or Sth House, the number of times
the native will get married n\ay be determined by the
