 Report to lead engineer, receive a local safety briefing and any other special instructions
 Documentation
- Instructions required for installation (Location/Survey Documents)
- Copy of installation method statement
- Copy of risk assessment
- Copies of appropriate permits / permissions / consents

compliance with associated H&S policies and procedures
 PPE to be worn at all times (hard hat, Hi Viz and safety boots, Harness for Cherry picker/MEWP
use)
 Power availability at mounting location
 Fabrication of access point mount and necessary components (If required, POE injector, Media
converter and 3 pin socket/connector block)
 Each engineer will have PPE for inspection as required and display company issued photo ID at all
times whilst on site
 All equipment is to be checked before use and serviceable

Plant and equipment

 All equipment is low voltage, comprising of Laptops, cable testers and a selection of hand
tools
 Cherry Picker/MEWP to be utilised to work at height
 Engineers working at height are IPAF certified and carry their pass books with them at all
times
 Engineers working at height always wear safety harnesses and lanyards when operating
at height
