1. What is your reaction to the video about new born reflexes?

Answer: After watching and reading the lesson about new born reflexes, I
learned that most of the reflexes initiated by the infant has a factor that could
stimulate it. Example, the Sucking Reflex. When a newborn’s lips are touched,
the baby makes a sucking motion. The stimulator is the touch from a thing or
from someone and the action that the baby makes is a sucking motion. Also, I
am amazed how the infants can slowly develop actions by doing simple things.
These small things will help them to function well when they grow up. Reflexes
of babies are important because this is a sign that the baby is capable of doing
things and it tells us that the baby’s neuro system is developing like it should.
The caregiver must be attentive when caring the baby and should be
responsible every time he or she is with the new born.
