TASK: Burning Contents into a Disk
OBJECTIVE:
The major objective of this task is to be aware of rewriting a content
into a Compact Disk.

THEORY:
It basically teaches us how to burn information, such as songs, files, or
programs, onto a blank CD. You can do this on both Windows and Mac
computers, though you will need a computer that has a DVD drive. These drives in
computers use lasers to burn or write a content into a disk. Hence, if we use flash
drives for burning. Then it would not be playable but, able to read and view
contents stored in a flash drive.

PROCEDURE:
Perform your task according to following steps:
 Insert a blank CD into your computer’s disk drive. Also make sure your
DISK is empty.
 Open File explorer and select the files you want to burn into Compact Disk.
For example these files are selected for burning into a CD Drive.
 Now click the ‘SHARE’ tab to share these files into CD drive.

Then a ‘Burn a disk’ button appears on your screen, press it.


 After burning your data your data would be automatically written in CD
Drive.

Now you can view your burned contents into a CD Drive. These contents
are saved until further changings.

RESULT:
Students are aware of new techniques of burning a data into a
CD Drive. It enhances a sound knowledge about how to burn or write files
into a CD Drive. There are also other new methods with which we can burn
our compact disk.

NOTE:
Some new methods of burning are;
 Burning a data or files
 Burning a music file
 Burning data in MAC OS.
