analytical exposition in daily context life and in order to access knowledge.

Basic Competence : Revealing the meaning and rhetorical steps accurately, fluently, and acceptably using various
written language in the daily life context in the form of report, narrative and analytical exposition

Indicator : Writing a simple narrative text based on the information given

Genre : Narrative text

Time Allocation : 1 x 10 minutes

Objective : At the end of the lesson, the students of the ninth grade in the first semester are able to make a
narrative text based on the given information accurately and appropriately.

Instructional Material :

A report describes the way things are. A report also refers to a range of natural or man made and social phenomena in our
environment. It tells the general classification of something.
e.g.: - Whales are mammals.
- Penguins are bird.
- Whales are different from fish.

A report also tells us the parts, qualities, habits, behaviors, or the uses.
e.g.: - Orchids have hard leaves.
- Most fish live in a tropical climate.
- Fish lay eggs, but whales have their babies.

Exercise:
Write a simple report text based on the information below:
LION : 1. It belongs to carnivores and wild animals
2. It can be found in the African jungle, savannah and it roams in the forests
3. It resembles a cat.
4. Its claws are sharp
5. It can run fast like a horse
6. It feeds on zebras, buffaloes or deer

Information about mosquitoes:
