available for monitoring are dedicated

current configuration, which ensures adequate monitoring of thi
s dangerous volcano

A short distance from Quito, Cotopaxi National Park is one of


Ecuador's most impressive national parks and of course, it
houses the mountain that gives it its name: the Cotopaxi
volcano
The ecological reserve surrounding the volcano is located on
the border between the provinces of Pichincha and Cotopaxi
Something particularly interesting about this national park is
given by the steep elevation of the volcano over relatively flat
terrain or which offers wonderful views from any angle you're
looking at
Cotopaxi National Park is a popular choice for mountaineering
and hiking enthusiasts, just as among those who chase
beautiful landscapes, but without having to climb their skirts
The Cotopaxi ecosystem is home to a wide variety of flora and
fauna which includes a unique combination of conifers with
wolves, pumas, bears, rabbits, condors, wild horses and foxes.
The Cotopaxi is one of the favorite cusps of mountaineers in
Ecuador.
It is absolutely essential to have adequate equipment to carry
out your ascent.
