Students at SD Negeri Talagadatar are entering a concrete operational stage, so they need a

medium to be able to capture various existing concepts. One of the subjects that seem abstract is
mathematics. Learning mathematics requires concrete objects and explanations from the teacher.
Currently we are facing a dangerous virus, namely the corona virus. The existence of this corona virus
outbreak makes learning completely online, mathematics is no exception. The purpose of this study is to
describe the process of learning mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic and to describe the impact
of being online during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative methods using interviews
and literature study. The result of this research is that the process of learning mathematics is carried out
online at SD Negeri Talagadatar with the online method using the WhatsApp application and utilizing
existing facilities at home properly to do all learning activities through the online system. Various
impacts, both positive and negative, were felt by teachers, students, and parents during online learning in
the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
