Meat : Unprocessed meats are low carb and keto-friendly.

that processed meats, like sausages, cold cuts and meatballs
often contain added carbs so be careful.

Fish and seafood : These are all good, especially fatty fish
like salmon. Avoid breading, as it contains carbs.

Eggs : Eat them any way you want boiled, fried in butter,
scrambled or as omelettes.

Natural fat : Butter , coconut oil or olive oil can be a good


dressing on salads and vegetables. Remember, fat helps you feel
full but don’t use more than you need and don’t fear fat.

Vegetables : especially leafy and green items. Favorites


include cauliflower, cabbage, avocado, broccoli and zucchini.

High-fat dairy : High-fat cheese is fine, and heavy cream is great


for cooking.

Nuts : Can be had in moderation, but be careful when using


nuts as snacks.

and strawberries are okay.

Seeds : They are healthy, high-fat and, low-carb and high in fiber,
which can help you feel full and absorb fewer calories overall
Although all seeds are low in net carbs.

Dark Chocolate and Cocoa Powder :


Dark chocolate and cocoa are delicious sources
of antioxidants. Somewhat surprisingly, chocolate can be part of a
ketogenic diet. However, it's important to choose dark chocolate
that contains a minimum of 70% cocoa solids, preferably more.
One ounce (28 grams) of unsweetened
chocolate (100% cocoa) has 3 grams of net carbs.
