1 What is the author's primary thesis or central claim? 4 List at least two questions you have for the author.

The author primary thesis is that there is little room for alterations
in the universe. We have to evaluate the conditions of the
universe. If there was any messing with the details of the universe
then nothing would exist because everything would be off. he also
claims that there is evidence of tampering.
- If things had been done slightly differently in the beginning
would the world be different?
- Could the sun be slightly bigger and still support life?

2 List three premises the author uses to justify their thesis or central claim. 5 List at least six specific terms the author uses to make their argument, and define them.

- Even the smallest of changes can disrupt everything.
- The level of "Fine-tuning" is one that has to be absolutely
perfect.
- God had a hand in creating the universe. There isn't a way that
all of the minuscule details came together in a bang.

- It's interesting to think that if everything weren't "just so" then the
world wouldn't exist. The conditions had to be just right otherwise
the outcome would be different.
- How incredible is it that everything in the galaxy helps to sustain
life through perfect conditions.
