THE NUMBER OF DENGUE CASES IN THREE RESIDENTIAL AREAS FROM 2012 TO 2016

AND THE DENGUE PREVENTION ACTIVITIES IN 2012,2014 AND 2016

The number od Dengue cases in three residential areas from 2012 to 2016 is
shown in figure 1 while Table 1 shows the dengue prevention activities in 2012, 2014
and 2016. In overview, the number of dengue cases is influenced by the dengue
prevention activities …in what years?.

In 2012, Taman Lily recorded 35 number of cases but the number then
decreased to one in 2016. Next, the number of dengue cases in Taman Lavender is 10 in
2013 while Taman Mawar recorded 30 number of dengue cases in the same year. (Both
are good)

In 2014, the number of dengue cases by Taman Mawar is was at 31 which then
decreased to 20 cases in 2015 while Taman Lavender in contrast, showed an increase in
the number of dengue cases from 2014 (12) to 2015 (18).(Good!) Other than that, the
number of dengue cases by Taman Lily is the highest in 2012 (35) because they do not
have home inspection by health officers, no fogging and not installing mosquitoes’ net.
However, in 2016, the number of dengue cases is soared went down to one case due to a
lot of dengue prevention activities were conducted.

In conclusion, those three residential areas recorded only a few cases in 2016
because they having home inspection by health officers. had a lot of dengue prevention
activities.
