interchangeable. After you’ve explored several types of each, in your own words, describe what
each term means to you.
a. Sensor: A sensor generates the output signals based on the quantity that is measured. A
sensor can measure the physical changes that occur in the surrounding environment.

b. Transducer: A transducer can perform like a sensor and can measure the same qualities
as sensor but it converts one form of energy into another.
