Quality of Working relationship

Collaboration and team work are a crucial aspect in nursing practice. Healthcare

practitioners must operate together to bring positive impact to the patient’s health in order to solve

the population health problem. In this assignment, I am collaborating with my partner to asses Boris

case. Team work is the power of nursing practice, my collaboration with team members depicted

that taught me how we can work together to improve patient’s health and outcome. We were able to

analysis Boris case including her medical history and diagnosis (American Psychiatric Association,

2013).

The Results showed that we had a quality working relationship had a quality relationship

which positively impacted our work. We were able to establish a mutual communication that

ensured that we agree in every team without mistaking ourselves as a team. Inter-professional

collaboration and team made us to produce quality results in this assessment.

Case Description

As aforementioned, our case was a based on a 24-year-old Caucasian English male, Boris.

According to the medical diagnosis history, it is evident that Boris is suffering from Conduct

disorder. He manifests symptoms of this disorder by showing signs of auditory hallucination and

hostility. She is also disorganized. He has a record of attempt to murder and has had a suicidal

thought. Base on the DSM-5 signs of conduct disorders (Walsh, 2016). The patients depict

symptoms of hostility and physical cruelty, for instance, when Boris attempted to kill the roommate.

Typically, the patient attempts to hide from other people by having social distance and relationship

issues.

Red flags

The first red flag that needs to be evaluated further is Boris's social relationship with her

friends. Boris has had a bad relationship with people, the conduct disorder has made her to be

socially withdrawn from others especially her classmates. This character signals that she could be

affected psychologically thus does not want neither a social relationship with people that why she

attempted to murder her classmate and has had a suicidal thought make her hostile.

Plans for further Research

Together with my team, we are looking forward to find out more related research concerning

DSM-5, the culturally and ethically sensitive approach of assessment. Acquiring additional

knowledge from these nursing areas allows us to prepare well for further research (American

Psychiatric Association, 2013). We are also planning to consult our supervisor to see it we can

expand our team members to allow us have an ample time to carry out further research. We have

agreed about the time and meeting dates that will also us balance between our course work, nursing

work and research. Our CFI interview will be done three time because we need to be considerate

about the ongoing crises in health. However, the meeting dates of the CFI were not determined

because we must complete the CFI interview on time.
