-Make sure CamtasiaStudio.exe and CamRecorder.

exe are not running (make sure by

opening Task Manager using Ctrl + Alt + Delete and click on the Processes tab).
-Hold the Windows key on you keyboard and then hit the R key to open the Run
window. Type 'regedit' (no quote marks) and hit OK.
-Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio\20.0
-Right-click on the 20.0 folder and choose Export. Save it to your Desktop (this
is a backup).
-Now Right click on the 20. folder and delete it.
-Try restarting Camtasia and see what happens.
