To install this printer driver to your Windows workstation, the following
environment is required.

Installation and Uninstallation

This product does not include an installer.
Please install this printer driver using the "Add Printer Wizard" built into
Microsoft Windows.
To install, click on "Start" -> "Control Panel" -> "Printers and Faxes" -> "Add a
printer". Within the "Add Printer Wizard", select the "estudio.inf" file.
To uninstall, please use the uninstall feature of the "Printers and Faxes" folder.

Before using this printer driver
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After you have installed the printer driver, please change the driver settings to
match the e-STUDIO you will use.
To change the driver settings, open the "Printers and Faxes" folder. Right click
on the printer icon, select "Properties". On the driver properties window, select
the "Device Settings" tab and change the settings of "Form To Tray Assignment" and
"Installable Options" to match the configuration of the e-STUDIO you will use.

Restrictions and Cautions
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- When documents are printed with this printer driver, the user name will always
appear as "Windows User" and the document name will always appear as "Windows
Document" in both front panel and in TopAccess.

- When "Destination" is set to "Printer Default", "Staple" and/or "Hole Punch"


finishing options may not be applied. To apply these finishing options, please
change the "Destination" to "Tray 1" or "Tray 2".
Depending on the equipped Finisher, "Staple" will no be applied when "Tray 1" is
selected.

- When "TBCP" is selected for the "Output protocol" within "Device Settings",
some image data in the document may not be printed correctly. To print the image
data correctly, please change the "Output protocol" to "ASCII" or "Binary".

- When using "Booklet Paper Size" within the "Advanced" settings, the document
preview will not reflect the changes.

- e-STUDIO205Series does not support the following options shown in the "Advanced"
settings.
- Booklet Paper Size
- In page of the order
- Booklet Center Margin
- Booklet Outer Margin
- Print Job -> Private Print -> Password
- Password (Digit 1 thru 5)
- Print Job -> Proof Print
- Depending on the e-STUDIO model and configuration you are using, some features
and/or options which appear on the printer driver is not available on the device.
Please consult the e-STUDIO manual for features and options available for each
configuration.

- e-STUDIO4511 Series and e-STUDIO451c Series will not produce any output when the
"Color Resolution Type" is set to "Color High-res".
To use these options, optional memory expansion(128MB) is required.
The following "Color Resolution Type" is not available without the memory
expansion:
- Color High-res General
- Color High-res Photo
- Color High-res Presentation
- Color High-res LineArt
- Color High-res Transparency

- Euro currency symbol may not be properly printed depending on the fonts used.
To print the Euro currency symbol, please change the "Add EURO Currency Symbol to
Post Script Fonts" to "No" which is located under "Device Settings".

- When printing documents with mixed layout orientation in duplex mode, the
document may be printed differently than the intended layout. To change the
layout, please change the "Orientation" to "Rotated Landscape" which is located
under the "Layout" tab .

- When printing multiple copies of magazine sort from Corel Draw, if the "collate"
option is set, all jobs are printed as one. To print each job separately, please
turn off the "collate" option in Corel Draw settings.

- When printing from Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader, some documents may not print
properly or some e-STUDIO features may not work properly.
To print properly, please try changing the following Acrobat settings:
- Choose Paper Source by PDF page size
- Print as image

- Depending on the application software or the document data, garbled character may
be printed or the error sheet may be printed during the print out operation.
To print properly, please change the "TrueType Font Download Option" to "Outline"
or "Bitmap", which is located under "Advanced" -> "Document Options" -> "Postscript
Options".

- To print documents using "magazine sort" in higher quality, please use "Layout"
-> "Pages per Sheet" -> "Booklet" instead of "Advanced" -> "Booklet Paper Size".

- When using "Pages per Sheet" -> "Booklet" from Microsoft Office2002 or 2003, some
AutoShapes and/or WWordArts may not be reduced properly. To print properly, please
use "Advanced" -> "Booklet Paper Size".

- When printing from Microsoft Word, set the "Background printing" option OFF.
