AP Chemistry Summer work 2020-21 Lori Blake

Complete the Self-Assessment Quiz for each of the following chapters. For credit, each
question must have math work or a detailed explanation. These concepts are review from
Honors Chemistry, so should be familiar. Please understand that doesn’t mean you won’t have
some questions. Star anything you aren’t sure of so we can discuss in class.

The assignment is due the first day of class and will be graded on effort and completion. The test
on these chapters will be broken into 2 grades, Chapters 1-3 for the first test and Chapters 4, 5,
and 8 for the second test. We will review important points and have time for questions before
the test. Tests will begin the second week of school.

I have made Kahoot games for your review. You will need a calculator and paper in order to
work out the math problems. You should have a Periodic Table in front of you to reference. All
of my Kahoots are tagged with “BlakeEHTHS AP”, but they are linked on my website. Look for
the AP Kahoot Tab. Remember, I tried (on purpose) to put tricky stuff on the Kahoot reviews. I
will always give you practice on tricky stuff before the test, I’m not trying to surprise you with
anything on test day.
