Bartosz Pokorski

For many fans and critics Quentin Tarantino is one of the greatests persons of cinema world of his
generation. American is definitely the most famous as a charismatic director for breaking many well
known patterns of movies. Howether not every Quentin's creations is as popular as Pulp Fiction,
and don't get as much credit as it should get. One of underrated Tarantino's movies is definitely
Inglourious Basterds.
Written and directed by Quentin himself movie was released in 2009 and starring actors such as
Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz. The film tells an alternate history story with an assasination of Nazi
Germany's leadership at priemiere of Nazi propaganda film in french movie theatre. At the
beggining we are introduced to main character and her past, which will transform into great
revenge. From the production side Quentin's fans will not be dissapointed. Camera movement and
structure of the movie is definitely one of his singature moves, and they are well combined with the
storry telling part.
As I said earlier, In my opinion this Tarantino's work is clearly underrated. Athough the story set
during World War II, the director spiced up the universe in a way that only he could do. We have an
original universe, which works really well with the scenario. This all things make the movie which
is a really nice thing to watch on a friday night.
