Press the tie Make five more tomatch, or fiom different strips. To sew the cover frst measure your eafetive circumference and height and then add 2cm (in) {for seams all round. Lay out your printed fabric and ‘mark the measurements, making a small curve in the Centre top to accommodate the spout () Cut out two pieces forthe back and front and cut ut a piece of wadding (batting) sight smal Place right sides together and pin the tiesin position along the side edges. They are made from felt with printed cotton linings, with yo-yo embellishments adding a fun finishing touch. Use the same template to cut out the lining from printed cottan, but add Gmm (tin) seam allowances all round for these. With right sides together, machine around the lining and then trim the seams (b) Face the lining n the egg cosy and make sure itis ‘pushed right to the top neatiy.
