Am Chapter 8: House & Things Lesson 30

1. Introduction:
Warm up
 Greeted and welcomed the student in the class

 Build a rapport with the student

 Tutor gave an introduction about the topic they will dicuss on the lesson.
She also had a review about the past lesson they had with the student.

2. Lesson Proper
 Extented knowledge thru showing sample photos.
 Gave rewards to the student.
 Gave appreciations and praises to the student.
 Let the student repeat the word 3 times.
 Tutor had made the teaching of vocabularies by syllabicating (dividing) the
words.

3. Feedback and soft-selling

 Gave reward before the end of the class. Reviewed the vocabularies at the
end. Gave technique how to make reading easier, like syllabicating the
word.

MY FEEDBACK: Network connection was not good. Video got blurred sometimes and the audio got
choppy too. Teacher’s voice was very calming. She used TPRs as well. Had a good interaction with
the student. Tutor has her own teaching strategies and techniques. There was parental support and
guidance which helped the student understand and achieved the lesson goals. The lesson was great
however the technical wasn’t good but not that bad.
