ABSTRACT

The Role of Financial Literacy in Decision Making of Millennial Young


Professionals

This research was conducted to find out the role of financial literacy in decision making
of millennial young professionals. The researchers use descriptive method using survey
questionnaire. There were 109 respondents selected from Lyceum-Northwestern University.
Millennial young professionals with age bracket of 21-35 years old were selected as the
respondents in this study. The principal tool used in data gathering was the questionnaire. All
data gathered were treated statistically by using frequency, percentage and average weighted
mean.
Based on the data gathered, findings were noted that majority that responded age
bracket were 22-26 years old having a percentage of 50.46%. This implies that these young
professionals were not have been experiencing enough to earn basic skills necessary to make
good financial decisions and beginning to realize that when they are experiencing poor personal
financial management it carries over to the work place.
Conclusions and recommendations shows that improving financial literacy should be a
first-order concern for respondents; therefore recommend that the respondents must consider
every factor that can affect their financial decision making to assure that the decisions they are
going to make will benefit them in general and must have taken time to read books and articles
about financial literacy to gain and develop new ideas and be able to apply what they have
learned for them to become financial healthy and wealth.

Abstract

The level of customer satisfaction in restaurant and kiosk in Robinsons Place Calasiao.

This study aims and to assess the level of customer satisfaction in RESTAURANT AND
KIOSK IN ROBINSONS PLACE CALASIAO. It also seeks to propose courses of actions
necessary to minimize problems encountered on the customers in the store.

The descriptive research was used in this study where observation and survey tools will
be often used to gather data (Gall, Gall, & Borg, 2007). It seeks to determine the statistics on
customer profiles based on frequencies and Percentages and the level of satisfaction using the
Liker scale. The respondents were customers visiting the stores and are divided into two strata:
customers visiting during weekdays and customers visiting during weekends, where 45 and 51
respondents were surveyed, respectively.

The researcher concluded that the customers are highly satisfied with the store. In all
four categories under study -location and cleanliness, the respondents gave excellent rating. It
is a signal to the store that they are doing well in the business in terms of customer satisfaction
but the store should still be mindful in keeping this status. It should continue doing what it
believes provide the best customer satisfaction but it should be critical as to where the possible
problems may arise.

ABSTRACT
Multi-Level Marketing Companies Agent's Satisfaction

This research study intended to determine the level of satisfaction among Multi-level marketing
agents in Dagupan City.  Quantitative research method was employed in this study through
administering descriptive-survey questionnaires to seventy-three (73) multi-level marketing
agents. Furthermore, this study used a frequency and percentage distribution and weighted
average mean.

Based on the results, the researchers concluded that majority of multi- level marketing
agents are within the age bracket 18-25 years old, females and most are college graduates.
Most of them have stayed in the industry for at least 1-5 years and generate a monthly income
of below P10, 000. Results also showed that most of the respondents were approached by a
friend or relative that talked about the business opportunity that multi-level marketing offer.
The variable "Conducts seminars to present the products and the company itself turned out to
highly satisfy agents as to methods of diffusing business opportunity. As to quality of recruitment
process results showed that agents are highly satisfied with all the variables under it. With
regards to quality of recruitment process, most agents are highly satisfied with the variable "
leverage my up-line's experience and let them help me explain the business." In terms of up-line
support, the variable "Leading, developing and working with me" highly satisfies most of the
multi-level marketing agents. And as to products/services awareness, results showed that multi-
level marketing agents are highly satisfied that the company they belong to offers high quality
products/services, and offers safe and tested products. Further, findings showed that most
variables mentioned under the challenges faced by multi-level marketing agents slightly affect
and dissatisfy the agents.

Abstract

Students Perception on the Seminars and Workshops in the Undergraduate Programs

This research was conducted to find. out the perception of the students in seminars and
workshops in Dagupan City. There were 340 respondents selected from Bachelor of Science in
Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  The principal tool used in
data gathering was the questionnaire. All data gathered were treated statistically by using
frequency, percentage and average weighted mean.A seminar or workshop is very important
especially for those students who taking up Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration. A seminar or workshop can be motivational and inspire
the students to become better people or to work towards implementing the skills they might
have learned. Results show that most of the students who attend seminars or workshop can
gain more knowledge and skills. Training modules, facilities and location are very important for
students to be able to fully understand the topics discussed in the seminars.

Conclusions and recommendations show that training modules capture the interest of
students; therefore the researchers highly recommend that speakers should make their make
their discussions entertaining and interesting. As to facilities, the place, location and facilities
have an impact for the students.Therefore the researchers recommend that the location and
facilities should provide convenience to the students. As to speaker, the knowledge and
presentations they have influences the learning of students. With that, the researchers
recommend that they should be knowledgeable about the topics they discuss and provide
visuals for the students to cope up with the discussion.
