A dialogue between two friends Nafi and Tamim about aim in life/future plan of life.

Tamim: Hello Nafi, good morning. How is your life going so far?

Nafi: Worry not, pal. So far, it is quite favorable and by the way, what about you?

Tamim: Thanks for asking. Mine is also treating me well. It looks like you have engulfed
yourself in a deep thought. Is everything okay?

Nafi: Yes, I’m absolutely fine. Honestly, I have been thinking about my career aspect.

Tamim: what do mean by that?

Nafi: It’s about my aim in life which implies the choice of one’s professional career.

Tamim: It sounds interesting. So, what is your career goal?

Nafi: I desire to be a Policy Maker at United Nations and serve for the world’s peace,
security and prosperity.

Tamim: How do you accomplish that as it requires both excellent academic qualifications and
other competencies?

Nafi: Right you are. I do have plans for that. As my academic qualification is a concern, I
have decided to pursue my graduation in International Development with a decent CGPA.
Moreover, I have plans to do my Masters in Economics or International Relations through
which I can academically be sensitive and acknowledged about how international
development, peace or prosperity occur and what changes are needed in Policy Making to
address those issues.

Tamim: Why do you think working at the Policy Making Level of UN is so important for me?

Nafi: I believe that Policy Makers have been playing a direct role in transforming people’s
lives as well as the overall development of the world. We always observe the successful
implementation of the ideas in International Relations, Development Projects, Funding,
Economic Growth and so forth made by the Policy Makers. As I am always amazed by it and
I cannot but be thrilled to be a part of this process as well as find my ideas contributing
directly in world’s peace, security and prosperity.

Tamim: Indeed. Nothing can be more inspiring than this. I wish you all the luck for your
future endeavors.

Nafi: Thanks. I wish you the same, buddy. Good bye. Take care.
