What is the Materials technology? Materials technology is a relatively comprehensive discipline that
begins with the production of goods from raw materials to the processing of materials in the shapes and
forms necessary for specific applications.

Describing specific materials:

Aluminum: It is a non-ferromagnetic metal. It is the third most common element found in the earth's
crust. Aluminum compounds are part of the earth's crust and are present in most rocks, vegetation, and
animals.

Copper: It is a transition metal of coppery color, that is, reddish-orange with a metallic luster that,
together with silver, gold and roentgenium, is part of the so-called copper family, it is characterized by
being one of the best conductors of electricity.

Plastic: material made up of a variety of organic, synthetic or semi-synthetic compounds, which have the
property of being malleable and therefore can be molded into malleable solid objects in various ways.

Steel: it is an alloy of iron and carbon in a proportional percentage by mass of its composition.

Rubber: Rubber is an elastic polymer, it arises as a milky emulsion (known as latex) in the sap of various
plants, but it can also be produced synthetically.
