THE DYAD ALLIANCE

The Dyad Alliance changes up Circadians: First Light by giving each player 2 Character Boards, rather than just 1. Both Character
Boards for each player are always active and therefore, players can create a lot of fun combos when pairing them together. The
only other difference in gameplay is that there is 1 less Round.

CHANGES TO SETUP
During step 9 of Setup, place 1 less Event Card in the Event Card Draw Pile (the game will have 1 less Round). Also, during step
15 of Setup, follow the steps below, rather than dealing 2 Character Boards to each player:

1. Place all Character Boards faceup on the table, including those from the Allies Expansion if available.
2. In turn order (determine this now, rather than in step 19 of Setup), each player selects 1 Character Board to use for the game
and places it faceup in front of them.
3. In the same turn order, each player selects 1 of the unselected Character Boards and returns it to the game box. These are no
longer available. Note: Skip this step in 3-4 player games where the Allies Expansions is not being used.
4. Now in reverse turn order, each player selects 1 of the unselected Character Boards still remaining on the table and places it
faceup in front of them, alongside their other Character Board. Each player should now have 2 Character Boards. Any unselected
Character Boards still remaining on the table should be returned to the box.
