Study materials are available online. Some courses have required Power Points, reading portfolios and
other assignments to complete the Credit by Exam process. Any additional assignments/materials
required are due on the day of testing.

For all exams, the student will work at his/her own pace and may take a
maximum of 3 hours to complete each exam. Please periodically check
http://www.katyisd.org/dept/assessment/Pages/Credit-by-Examination.aspx for any testing updates
and additional information.

Official score reports may be viewed through the Home Access Center and Campuses will receive paper
copies of the test results. One copy will be filed in the student’s permanent record, and parents will
receive a copy of the test results from the campus. Results will arrive in the district in 4-6 weeks. Please
contact your child’s counselor if you have any questions.
